What we do, plainly.
Operations and strategy work for small businesses. The kind of help that sits between "we need a consultant" and "we need to hire".
Who we work with
Small businesses that have outgrown how they were set up. Without bringing in a McKinsey-sized invoice. Without standing up a six-person ops team. Just the work, done by people who've done it before.
Most engagements come from one of these:
- Coaching practices growing past founder bandwidth.
- Creative and marketing agencies past the founder-as-PM stage.
- Family offices and small holdings wanting operations without a full-time COO.
- Wellness and bodywork businesses systemising what used to be intuitive.
- Solo professional practices hiring their first ops person.
- Founders preparing to sell, hand off, or step back.
What we don't do
A few things we don't do, in case it saves you a call:
- Marketing services. Not our craft. We'll point at someone if you need one.
- Legal, tax, or accounting advice. We work alongside the specialists you already have. Not licensed for any of it ourselves.
- Be your team long-term. We help you hire, onboard, and train your #2. We don't permanently take their place. If we're still doing the same work six months in, you should have hired by now.
- Off-the-shelf templates. Whatever you get is built for you, in your tools, in your accounts. Nothing locked behind our access.
How to tell if we'd fit
The clients we tend to work well with:
- Past trying every new tool and want one done well instead.
- Want the work to survive us leaving — no vendor lock-in, no maintenance dependency.
- Hire people who push back rather than agree reflexively.
- Not in such a rush that we both lose clarity.
If that sounds right — start with the intake form. Five minutes, then we talk.
